She lost control and went off the roadway causing damage to her vehicle. Delisle had non-life threatening injuries. Further investigation led to Delisle's arrest for suspicion of DUI. She was transported to the Middlesex State Police Barracks for processing and released. She is scheduled to appear in Washington Superior Court - Criminal Division on June 15th, 2017.

It was determined neither speed nor alcohol were involved in this incident. Fournier was uninjured and was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Airbags were not deployed.

Windsor County in response to a reported family fight. Upon arrival, Troopers

met with Richard Duncan who said his brother, Nelson Duncan IV had allegedly

assaulted him. Richard also stated, Nelson picked up his 128GB iPhone 7

Plus and smashed it over his knee.

Troopers found probable cause that the cell phone was smashed but could not

substantiate whether an assault actually took place. Nelson was cited to appear

at the Windsor County Superior Court to answer to the charge of Unlawful

Mischief. Allegations of the assault are being forwarded to the Windsor County

State's Attorney's Office for further review.

After speaking with the driver and assessing the scene, it was determined that Harmon was under the influence of drugs. Harmon was subsequently arrested, processed, and charged with DUI Drugs, Careless and Negligent Operation, and Aggravated Operation Without Owners  Consent.

State Police made contact with the operator, 33 year old Mary Mendoza of Weybridge, Vermont, and detected signs of impairment.  State Police screened Mendoza roadside and subsequently took her into custody for suspected DUI.  Mendoza was processed for DUI, arrested and released on a citation to appear at Addison District Court on June 19, 2017, to answer the charge of DUI (First Offense).

On 26 May 2016 Vermont State Police responded to a male trapped underneath a vehicle at a residence on Ellsworth Road in Fairfax, VT. Fairfax Fire and Rescue responded to the scene, released the male from the vehicle, and transported to Northwest Medical Center prior to VSP arrival. The initial scene was processed and  preliminary interviews conducted of first responders.

 

The male was identified as William A. Higgins, 52 years old of Fairfax. Subsequent investigation, through several interviews and a review of footage,  revealed that Higgins was operating the vehicle on a public highway while intoxicated prior to pinning his lower leg under the driver's side front tire.

 

Higgins provided a blood sample as evidence, which is still pending analysis.

The injuries were determined to be non-life threatening, and the victim was transported to Northwest Medical Center by Fairfax Rescue. There is no immediate danger to the public at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.    

 

UPDATE – The victim in this case is identified as Jesse Littlefield, age 37, of Fairfax.  Preliminary investigation by Detective Troopers with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), indicates that this incident is likely the result of an accidental discharge of the firearm while cleaning.  The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation at this time.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: 

 

Vermont State Police troopers responded to Rockingham to investigate the

reported sighting of a missing 14-year-old juvenile from Hinsdale, NH.  The

juvenile was located in the vicinity of Alden Rd.  It was quickly learned the

juvenile had been brought to Vermont from New Hampshire by Kurt Carpentino.

 

Carpentino was located driving in Springfield by Springfield Police Department

officers.

 

Investigation by troopers and detectives revealed Carpentino brought the

juvenile across state lines to Vermont, without the knowledge of or permission

from the juvenile's family, where he and the juvenile had sex.

 

Carpentino was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield.

He is due in court tomorrow, April 27.

 

Carpentino has a criminal record in Vermont and New Hampshire.

 

Detectives are still actively investigating this case.  Anyone with additional

VICTIM: (The Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of

sexual assault or domestic violence.)

              

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: 

 

Vermont State Police troopers responded to Rockingham to investigate the

reported sighting of a missing 14-year-old juvenile from Hinsdale, NH.  The

juvenile was located in the vicinity of Alden Rd.  It was quickly learned the

juvenile had been brought to Vermont from New Hampshire by Kurt Carpentino.

 

Carpentino was located driving in Springfield by Springfield Police Department

officers.

 

Investigation by troopers and detectives revealed Carpentino brought the

juvenile across state lines to Vermont, without the knowledge of or permission

from the juvenile's family, where he and the juvenile had sex.

 

Carpentino was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield.

He is due in court tomorrow, April 27.

 

Carpentino has a criminal record in Vermont and New Hampshire.

SUMMARY OF CRASH:

 

On 05/27/2017 at approximately 0606 hours, the State Police responded to a

report of a crash near Cook road on VT RT 16 in the Town of Barton. Upon arrival

at the scene of the crash Troopers observed a vehicle bearing Vermont

Registration GYR819 in the woods off the traveled portion of the roadway. The

operator was not with the vehicle. There was damage to a Vermont State reflector

sign.

 

Further investigation revealed Nina Carpenter crashed her vehicle earlier that

morning. Carpenter reported no injuries.  Carpenter was issued a citation for

Leaving the Scene of a Crash.
